These are the print covers I made up on CreateSpace. Like the rest of the process, it wasn’t exactly easy. I tried to just use the cover image from my publisher, but the site wouldn’t accept it because the text was too close to the edges. So I got my publisher to send me an image without text and I added the text myself. The font on this is actually a little different from the e-book. I think it looks gorgeous. What do you think?
Print cover!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! I want a hard copy 🙂
, Art is messy, you have to commit to it and be proud at some point. ) dsetipe hiring a copy editor and waiting for both proofs. I debated when to take care of those mistakes because I didn’t want to interrupt sales (though the mistakes were eating at my gut). I discussed this with the Createspace consultant and her comment was to consider my audience. The mistakes I had found didn’t effect the overall meaning of the book it wasn’t a book for copy editors. So I let the mistakes go for a few weeks while I gathered as many corrections as I could. The next set of corrections was going to cost me money.Only after some time did I have them make the fixes. At that point the quick approval of the proof was wonderful. I needed to get it back up for sale. It was hard to wait, but the end result looks great.
Looks fabulous. Wish I had thought of that… you must be getting so excited!
